TMPSYS-VRPT - Virtual Reality Parachute Trainer
The TMPSYS-VRPT has been designed to allow ab initio parachutists to practice their parachuting skills and rehearse malfunction procedures in a safe but realistic environment. The UK military configuration will allow for up to eight students to be trained simultaneously, either in their own virtual environment or as a ‘stick’ of six jumpers.
The TMPSYS-VRPT functionality includes:
- Selectable Parachute Types
- Selectable Weather Conditions (Rain, Snow, Fog)
- Selectable Wind Speed (may differ with Altitude)
- Selectable Virtual Environment (three currently available)
- Instructor Induced Malfunctions
- Monitoring of Individual Students
- Jump record/playback for De-Brief
