Night Visual Signature Trainer
The Flash Effects Simulator (TMP-250FES-V2) was designed specifically to meet the demands of nighttime training. The startling visual signature provides a flash that simulates the stock and confusion generated by nighttime explosions that can drown out commands and rob sight. The blinding light, combined with the powerful audible report from a IED Trainer, helps train Warfighters to react with precision during nighttime attacks.
Adjustable Settings & Enhanced Realism
The Flash Effects Simulator provides an intense visual signature unmatched among all other non pyrotechnic devices. Adjustable intensity and frequency settings allow for a variety of different configurations that maximize training realism.
Non-Pyrotechnic
Completely non-pyrotechnic, the Flash Effects Simulator does not use or contain munitions, chemicals, or combustibles. This allows for triggering of the device while trainees are in close proximity without causing bodily harm.
The Visible Difference When triggered at night, the Flash Effects Simulator can be seen from 800 meters away. When using IR spectrum devices, the flash can be seen from 3000 meters.
Rugged & Reusable
The device’s enclosure is reverse polarity protected for foolproof field operation. Continual reuse requires no more than the occasional battery recharge. Depending upon configuration, it is common to trigger the device over 200 times before it requires recharging.
